The Vice-Chancellor scholarship targets academic excellence and financial need and reflects a commitment to the University’s values. You have the flexibility to choose whether to receive this as a cash payment or put it towards your tuition fees.

Award Summary

Cash award or tuition fee waiver of up to £27,750 over three years.

Eligibility Summary

• Undergraduate students starting at UEL for the first time in September 2020
• You must be fee-assessed as a home/EU* student
• Full-time students studying on campus or on distance learning programmes with fees of £9,250
• You must have accepted UEL as your firm choice through UCAS Track

How do I apply?

Applications for the first round are now closed! If you have applied you will receive an outcome within 2 weeks of the deadline. The next round of scholarship applications will open in early May.
