50% Tuition fee waiver for one year Jointly supervised PhDs (widely known as cotutelles) offer PhD students the chance to be jointly supervised by the University of Kent and a university in another country, resulting in a dual award: a PhD from Kent and a doctorate from the partner university. About The University of Kent has up to ten scholarships for full-time EU (non UK) students who wish to be jointly supervised by the University of Kent and a university in another EU member state or accession country for a double degree (cotutelle). Criteria The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence and research potential as well as how the application addresses the following:
How to apply Contact the relevant academic school to identify a supervisor and discuss your cotutelle plans with him/her. Once the academic school has confirmed it would be willing to admit and supervise you as a cotutelle candidate, you will need to take the following three steps:
